Mt. Rainier Summit Climb - Day Four - 7-17-2015

We all had a  great night's sleep and rest at Ingraham Flats after summating yesterday morning.  I slept from 6:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on Friday.  We all felt great!  There was no wind and the morning was amazingly beautiful!

We all had a hot cup of coffee and breakfast, still very happy and excited about our successful summit climb.

Then it was time to rope up to Camp Muir and  head on down to Paradise!

When we got to Camp Muir, we put all of our climbing gear in our packs, and had a short snack and down we went.  So great to be back at Paradise at the parking lot.  So good to get those climbing boots off and put on my walking shoes.  I felt like I was walking on a cloud!  ha!

We had our Victory dinner at Whittakers in Ashford.  Lots of pizza, salad, beer and ice cream!  We were hungry!  Another amazing climb with our wonderful and amazing friends!  Thank you, Jesus!

Wow! Beautiful calm Friday morning at Ingraham Flats.

Mike and John up and rested after a good night's sleep with no wind
hitting our tents.

Disappointment Clever, rock we had to climb up and down without
causing any rocks to tumble down on others as well as on ourselves!

Cimbers coming down, can barely see them.  Route we had to follow.  They look like little ants.  ha!

Our skeleton of a tent.

Me and Ted.  So proud of him.  His birthday was yesterday, he
turned 65 years old!

Mike, is pointing to where we climbed.  Way up there!
