Light Boot Hikers Hike to Lake Trails, Mt. Rainier Park on Sunday, August 17

Today we hiked the Lakes Trail at Mt. Rainier.  What a beautiful day!  Lots of sunshine!  Ted and I were joined by, Carol, Joy, Anna, Betty, Al, Dana, Tanner and Mason.  We hiked from Paradise down to Reflection Lakes, then up to Faraway Rock, where we had lunch.  A hiker passing by, told us he saw a bear and to watch out for it.  I knew it would not be a problem as we were pretty noisy and probably would scare it away.  Then on to Artist Pool.  We hiked back to Paradise going through the most beautiful meadows, filled with wildflowers of many colors.    The blue lupine’s fragrance was amazing.  Great views of Mt. Rainier, and best of all great people to hike with.
